Installation of the Pressure Transducers

Subtask 32-44-18-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-44-18-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

C. Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
Subtask 32-44-18-560-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - On panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(5) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new packings (2).
4. Procedure(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(5) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new packings (2).
Subtask 32-44-18-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Pressure Transducers 62GG, 63GG
(1) Remove the blanking plugs.
(2) Install the new AIPC 32-44-18-01-010 PACKINGS (2) on the pressure transducers (3) and (16).
(3) Put the pressure transducers (3) and (16) on the manifold assembly (1).

(5) Make a mark on the bolts with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) .
(6) Install the clamps (7) and (14) on the pressure transducers (3) and (16).
(7) Attach the bonding straps (10) and (11) with the washers (5) and (12), the bolts (4) and (13) and the nuts (6) and (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(8) Remove the blanking caps.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (8) and (15) to the pressure transducers (3) and (16).
Subtask 32-44-18-865-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the blanking plugs.
(2) Install the new AIPC 32-44-18-01-010 PACKINGS (2) on the pressure transducers (3) and (16).
(3) Put the pressure transducers (3) and (16) on the manifold assembly (1).
NOTE: The pressure transducer 63GG (16) is installed above the pressure transducer 62GG (3).
(4) Install the bolts (17) and the nuts (18) and TORQUE to between 0.45 and 0.35 m.daN (39.82 and 30.97 lbf.in )
. (5) Make a mark on the bolts with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.04JMD9) .
(6) Install the clamps (7) and (14) on the pressure transducers (3) and (16).
(7) Attach the bonding straps (10) and (11) with the washers (5) and (12), the bolts (4) and (13) and the nuts (6) and (9) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(8) Remove the blanking caps.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connectors (8) and (15) to the pressure transducers (3) and (16).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the alternate braking system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the pressure transducers 62GG and 63GG.

(2) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the pressure transducers 62GG and 63GG.
Subtask 32-44-18-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the heads of the bolts and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Apply corrosion protection to the heads of the bolts and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
