Removal of the Brake Manifold
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.

Subtask 32-44-17-860-050-A
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Push the pressure release button on the pressure relief valve 3067GM to depressurize the alternate brake system.
(3) Make sure that the pressure on the gage 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
Subtask 32-44-17-010-050-A Subtask 32-44-17-869-050-A (1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Push the pressure release button on the pressure relief valve 3067GM to depressurize the alternate brake system.
(3) Make sure that the pressure on the gage 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
C. Disconnection Of the PTU Isolation Coupling
(1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
(4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the manifold 3016GM to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-44-17-865-050-A (1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
(4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the manifold 3016GM to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

- On the panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
F. Component Removal
(1) Remove the pressure relief valve 3067GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-15-000-001).
(2) Remove the hydraulic pressure transducer 3068GN (Ref. AMM TASK 29-32-11-000-004).
Subtask 32-44-17-560-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the pressure relief valve 3067GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-15-000-001).
(2) Remove the hydraulic pressure transducer 3068GN (Ref. AMM TASK 29-32-11-000-004).
F. Component Removal
(1) Remove the pressure relief valve 3067GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-15-000-001).
(2) Remove the hydraulic pressure transducer 3068GN (Ref. AMM TASK 29-32-11-000-004).
(3) Remove the selector valve 99GG (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-51-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the pressure relief valve 3067GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-15-000-001).
(2) Remove the hydraulic pressure transducer 3068GN (Ref. AMM TASK 29-32-11-000-004).
(3) Remove the selector valve 99GG (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-51-000-001).
Subtask 32-44-17-020-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Brake Manifold 3016GM
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Remove the nuts (12) and the washers (14).
(3) Remove the bolts (19), the washers (18) and the top half of the clamp (17).
(4) Disconnect the pipe (1) from the manifold (2).
(5) Disconnect the pipe (5) from the check valve (6).
(6) Disconnect the T-assembly (4) from the manifold (2).
(7) Disconnect the pipes (3) and (8) from the manifold (2)
(8) Disconnect the elbow assembly (9) from the manifold (2).
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(10) Remove the bolts (10) and the washers (11).
(11) Remove the manifold (2) from the aircraft structure.
Subtask 32-44-17-020-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Remove the nuts (12) and the washers (14).
(3) Remove the bolts (19), the washers (18) and the top half of the clamp (17).
(4) Disconnect the pipe (1) from the manifold (2).
(5) Disconnect the pipe (5) from the check valve (6).
(6) Disconnect the T-assembly (4) from the manifold (2).
(7) Disconnect the pipes (3) and (8) from the manifold (2)
(8) Disconnect the elbow assembly (9) from the manifold (2).
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(10) Remove the bolts (10) and the washers (11).
(11) Remove the manifold (2) from the aircraft structure.
A. Removal of the Brake Manifold 3016GM
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Remove the nuts (15) and the washers (16).
(3) Remove the bolts (11), the washers (12) and the top half of the clamp (13).
(4) Disconnect the pipe (1) from the manifold (10).
(5) Disconnect the T-assembly (2) from the manifold (10).
(6) Disconnect the pipe (3) from the check valve (4).
(7) Disconnect the pipe (6) from the manifold (10).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(9) Remove the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(10) Remove the manifold (10) from the aircraft structure.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Remove the nuts (15) and the washers (16).
(3) Remove the bolts (11), the washers (12) and the top half of the clamp (13).
(4) Disconnect the pipe (1) from the manifold (10).
(5) Disconnect the T-assembly (2) from the manifold (10).
(6) Disconnect the pipe (3) from the check valve (4).
(7) Disconnect the pipe (6) from the manifold (10).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(9) Remove the bolts (7) and the washers (8).
(10) Remove the manifold (10) from the aircraft structure.
