3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
   (2) Push the pressure release button on the pressure relief valve 3067GM to depressurize the alternate brake system.
F Pressure Release Knob of the Alternate Brake System ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (3) Make sure that the pressure on the gauge 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

C. Disconnection of the PTU Isolating Coupling
   (1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
   (4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the pressure relief valve 3067GM to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
  • On panel 40VU in the cockpit,
  • On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-44-15-020-050-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Pressure Relief Valve 3067GM
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Remove the bolts (8), the washers (9) and the bonding strap (10).
   (3) Remove the pressure relief valve (7) from the manifold (1).
   (4) Remove and discard the packings (2) and the back-up rings (3) from the bobbins (4).
   (5) If necessary, remove the bobbins (4) from the pressure relief valve (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001). Remove and discard the square seals (6) and the back-up rings (5) from the bobbins (4).
   (6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
