A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
Subtask 32-44-14-865-051-A (1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).

C. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:

- on the panel 40VU in the cockpit,
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

A. Installation of the Accumulator Pressure Gage 2585GM
(1) Remove the blanking plugs.
(2) Install the gage (6) on the adapter (4).
(3) TORQUE the nut (5) to between 1.65 and 1.54 m.daN (12.17 and 11.36 lbf.ft ).
(5) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
Subtask 32-44-14-614-050-A Subtask 32-44-14-210-051-A (1) Remove the blanking plugs.
(2) Install the gage (6) on the adapter (4).
(3) TORQUE the nut (5) to between 1.65 and 1.54 m.daN (12.17 and 11.36 lbf.ft )
. WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(4) Safety the nut (5) with corrosion-resistant steel lockwire 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) dia.(5) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
C. Visual Inspection
(1) Make sure that there are no leaks.
(2) Make sure that the pressure in the accumulator is stable.
(3) Make sure that the cap (2) is installed on the charging valve (3).
Subtask 32-44-14-865-052-A (1) Make sure that there are no leaks.

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
