A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the right MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position.
(7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the manifold 3016GM.
(8) Make sure the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
Subtask 32-43-51-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the right MLG door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(6) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position.
(7) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the manifold 3016GM.
(8) Make sure the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- on the panel 40VU in the cockpit,
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.

A. Preparation of the Replacement Component
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(6) Put the packings (6) in position on the sides of the bobbins (4) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(7) Put the back-up rings (3) in position on the sides of the bobbins (4) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(8) Put the seals (2) in position on the sides of the bobbins (4) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(9) Install the bobbins (4) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold assembly (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
Subtask 32-43-51-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(4) Apply clean Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new: - AIPC 32-43-03-10-060 PACKINGS (6) or AIPC 32-43-83-07-120 PACKINGS (6),
- AIPC 32-43-03-10-070 BACK-UP RINGS (5) or AIPC 32-43-83-07-130 BACK-UP RINGS (5),
- AIPC 32-43-03-10-080 BACK-UP RINGS (3) or AIPC 32-43-83-07-140 BACK-UP RINGS (3) and
- AIPC 32-43-03-10-090 SEALS (2) or AIPC 32-43-83-07-150 SEALS (2).
(6) Put the packings (6) in position on the sides of the bobbins (4) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(7) Put the back-up rings (3) in position on the sides of the bobbins (4) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(8) Put the seals (2) in position on the sides of the bobbins (4) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(9) Install the bobbins (4) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold assembly (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
B. Installation of the Alternate Braking Selector Valve
(1) Remove the blanking plugs.
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Carefully install the alternate braking selector valve (12) on the manifold assembly (1).
(4) Install the bonding lead (7), the washers (8), the bolts (9) and the bolt (11).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (9) and the bolt (11) to between 0.9 and 0.8 m.daN (79.65 and 70.80 lbf.in )

(6) Connect the electrical connector (10).
Subtask 32-43-51-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the blanking plugs.
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Carefully install the alternate braking selector valve (12) on the manifold assembly (1).
(4) Install the bonding lead (7), the washers (8), the bolts (9) and the bolt (11).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (9) and the bolt (11) to between 0.9 and 0.8 m.daN (79.65 and 70.80 lbf.in )
. (6) Connect the electrical connector (10).
C. Preparation for Test
(1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Bleed the alternate brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-870-002).
(3) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
Subtask 32-43-51-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Bleed the alternate brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-870-002).
(3) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

E. Test
(1) Do an operational test of the alternate braking with anti-skid (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the alternate braking selector valve (12) and/or the manifold assembly (1).
5. Close-up(1) Do an operational test of the alternate braking with anti-skid (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the alternate braking selector valve (12) and/or the manifold assembly (1).
NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 32-43-51-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Do the electrical bonding of the bonding lead (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Remove the container.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(7) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Do the electrical bonding of the bonding lead (7) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
WARNING:

(2) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the bolts (9) and the bolt (11). (3) Remove the container.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(7) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
