   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

C. Aircraft Maintenance configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 822.
   (2) Make sure that the access door 822 is open.
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-43-34-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the ABCU
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the bonded points are in the correct condition.
   (4) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
   (5) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
   (6) Put and hold the ABCU (6) on the bracket (7) .
   (7) Install the screws (4) and washers (3).
   (8) Tighten the screws (4).
   (9) Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2).
   (10) Do an electrical bonding at the screws (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. BITE Test
   (1) Do the Operational check to start the functional test of the alternate braking automatically (flight simulated) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-002).
   (2) Do the BITE test of the BSCU (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-001).
NOTE: If the airline operates the aircraft in CAT 3 conditions, do the LAND CAT 3 capability test:
     (a) Make sure that the CAT 3 DUAL INOP indication is not shown on the lower ECAM DU with the FADEC GND PWR 1 and 2 pushbutton switches (maintenance panel 50VU) pushed (ON legends on) and the 3 IRs aligned (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
     (b) Do the operational test of the LAND CAT III CAPABILITY (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
NOTE: As an alternative procedure, you can do this test without the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-003).
   (3) On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, do the bite test of the BSCU (LRU IDENTIFICATION) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-003).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the access doors 822.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) De-energize the aircraft electrical cicuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
