MAKE SURE THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROL SAFETY-LOCKS AND THE WARNING NOTICES ARE IN POSITION.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
Subtask 32-43-31-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) is below the applicable false spar at the alternate-brake servovalve manifold.
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system has been depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the pressure in the brake accumulator of the Yellow hydraulic system is at zero.
(4) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
Subtask 32-43-31-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) is below the applicable false spar at the alternate-brake servovalve manifold.
(2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system has been depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the pressure in the brake accumulator of the Yellow hydraulic system is at zero.
(4) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

Subtask 32-43-31-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the hydraulic and the electrical connectors.
(5) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

B. Installation of the Alternate-Brake Servovalve Manifold
(1) Install the manifold (2) with the four bolts (4).
(2) Tighten the four bolts (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
(3) Connect the hydraulic connectors (3) and (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-11-917-001).
(4) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 32-43-31-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the manifold (2) with the four bolts (4).
(2) Tighten the four bolts (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-11-911-001).
(3) Connect the hydraulic connectors (3) and (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-11-917-001).
(4) Connect the electrical connectors (1).
(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Aircraft Configuration
(1) Connect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).

F. Test
(1) Do an operational test of the alternate brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-710-001).
(2) Make sure that there are no hydraulic leaks at the hydraulic connectors (3) and (5).

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
