WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
   (1) Put the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the applicable alternate-brake safety-valve (4).
   (2) Remove the dust cap (1) from the applicable bleed screw (2).
   (3) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire from the bleed screw (2).
   (4) Put the HOSE - BLEED between the bleed screw (2) and the CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL).
   (5) Slowly loosen the bleed screw (2) to release the hydraulic pressure.
   (6) When the fluid flow stops, do a check of the packing (3).
     (a) If the packing (3) is damaged, do the steps that follow:
1 Remove the bleed screw (2).
2 Remove and discard the packing (3) from the bleed screw (2).
