Subtask 32-42-48-420-053-A
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Examine the interface of the servovalve and the normal brake manifold for the correct condition.
   (5) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (4).
   (6) If you are to install the servovalve 15GG(16GG), remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connector (4) of the servovalve 17GG(18GG).
   (7) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the hydraulic line end-fittings.
   (8) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
   (9) Lubricate the new AIPC 32-42-48-01-040 SEALS (3) and the new AIPC 32-42-48-01-050 RINGS (2) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
NOTE: If the servovalve is a replacement, then it is supplied with the rings and seals installed.
Subtask 32-42-48-420-051-A
B. Installation of the Normal Brake Servovalve
   (1) Install the seals (3) and the rings (2) on the servovalve (1).
   (2) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION and the PLUG - BLANKING from the normal brake manifold.
   (3) Put the servovalve (1) in position on the normal brake manifold and install the bolts (5).
   (4) TORQUE the bolts (5) to between 0.45 and 0.35 m.daN (39.82 and 30.97 lbf.in ) T.
Subtask 32-42-48-760-050-A
C. Electrical Bonding Resistance Test
   (1) Use a MILLIOHMMETER ACCURACY 0.005 OHM to measure the bonding resistance between:
     (a) The MLG forward pintle bearing and the applicable brake manifold servo-valve connector shell. The bonding resistance must be less than 20 milliohms.
   (2) Connect the electrical connector (4) on the servovalve (1).
   (3) If you installed the servovalve 15GG(16GG) connect the connector (4) on the servovalve 17GG(18GG).
