WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 811.
   (2) Open the access door 811.

A. Install the 98A27901002000 PIN-RIGGING,RUDDER CONTROL (14)

B. Removal of the Transmitter Unit (13)
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (12) form the of the transmitter unit (13).
   (2) Put the PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line ends.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
   (3) Remove and discard the cotter pins (9).
   (4) Remove the nuts (8) and the washers (7).
   (5) Remove the bolts (3) and disengage the rods (6).
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL A COTTER PIN. EACH TIME YOU REMOVE A COTTER PIN DURING THE TASK, DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. A LOOSE COTTER PIN CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND.
   (6) Remove and discard the cotter pins (5).
   (7) Hold the transmitter unit (13), remove the nuts (11), the washers (10), the bolts (1) and the transmitter unit (13).

B. Removal of the Transmitter Unit (13)
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connectors (12) form the of the transmitter unit (13).

   (3) Remove and discard the cotter pins (9).
   (4) Remove the nuts (8) and the washers (7).
   (5) Remove the bolts (3) and disengage the rods (6).

   (6) Remove and discard the cotter pins (5).
   (7) Hold the transmitter unit (13), remove the nuts (11), the washers (10), the bolts (1) and the transmitter unit (13).
