A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.
   (4) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-42-34-420-050-A
A. Installation of the BSCU
   (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (2) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
   (4) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct conditions.
   (5) Install the BSCU (1) on its rack (3).
   (6) Push the BSCU (1) on its rack (3) to connect the electrical connectors (2).
   (7) Engage the nuts (4) on the lugs (5) and tighten.
   (8) Make sure that the OBRMs are correctly installed. If they are not installed correctly, push the OBRMs until the locking devices are locked.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do the selection of the pin programming of the BSCU in relation to the type of brakes and tires related to the aircraft pin programming (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-610-001).
NOTE: Refer to the reference of the pin programming on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page printed before removal of the BSCU.

C. Check of the BSCU pin programming
   (1) Do the LRU IDENTIFICATION selection (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-003).
   (2) Make sure that the pin programming of the BSCU is the same as the pin programming printed before removal and/or in relation with the type of brakes and tires.

D. BITE Test
   (1) Do the BITE test of the BSCU (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-001).
NOTE: If the airline operates the aircraft in CAT 3 conditions, do the LAND CAT 3 capability test:
     (a) Make sure that the CAT 3 DUAL INOP indication is not shown on the lower ECAM DU with the FADEC GND PWR 1 and 2 pushbutton switches (maintenance panel 50VU) pushed (ON legends on) and the 3 IRs aligned (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
     (b) Do the LAND TEST (CAT 3 CAPABILITY) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
NOTE: As an alternative procedure, you can do this test without the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-51-00-720-003).
   (2) On the center pedestal, on the MCDU, do the LRU IDENTIFICATION of the BSCU (Ref. AMM TASK 32-46-00-740-003).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the access door 811.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
