A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position:

(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position:
- on the ground service panel to tell persons not to pressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems,
- on the panel 40VU, to tell persons not to pressurize the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the wheel chocks are in position.
(2) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is set to OFF.
(3) Make sure that there is a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to operate the brake pedals.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that there is a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the PARK BRK control switch (73GG) to tell persons not to operate the parking brake system.
(5) Make sure that the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

A. Installation of the Brake Hydraulic Self-Sealing Coupling
(1) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the related inlet port of the hydraulic crown (4).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the related brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) and on the new preformed packing (3).
(3) Install the new AIPC 32-42-27-01-131 PREFORMED PACKING (3) or AIPC 32-42-27-01-100 PREFORMED PACKING (3) or AIPC 32-42-27-03-110 PREFORMED PACKING (3) on the related brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2).
(4) Install the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) on the related inlet port of the brake hydraulic crown (4).
(5) TORQUE the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to between 1.98 and 1.62 m.daN (14.60 and 11.95 lbf.ft )

(7) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the hydraulic line quick-disconnect (1).
(8) Connect the related hydraulic line quick-disconnect (1) to the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2).

(4) Install the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) on the related inlet port of the brake hydraulic crown (4).
(5) TORQUE the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to between 1.98 and 1.62 m.daN (14.60 and 11.95 lbf.ft )
. WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(6) Safety the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to the brake hydraulic crown with (7) Remove the COVER - PROTECTION from the hydraulic line quick-disconnect (1).
(8) Connect the related hydraulic line quick-disconnect (1) to the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2).
A. Installation of the Brake Hydraulic Self-Sealing Coupling
(1) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the threads of the related brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) and on the new preformed packing (3).
(2) Install the new AIPC 32-42-27-01-131 PREFORMED PACKING (3) or AIPC 32-42-27-01-100 PREFORMED PACKING (3) on the related brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2).
(3) Install the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) on the related inlet port of the brake hydraulic crown (4).
(4) TORQUE the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to between 16.5 and 13.5 lbf.ft (2.24 and 1.83 m.daN )

(5) Safety the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to the brake hydraulic crown with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(6) Connect the related hydraulic line quick-disconnect (1) to the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2).

(3) Install the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) on the related inlet port of the brake hydraulic crown (4).
(4) TORQUE the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to between 16.5 and 13.5 lbf.ft (2.24 and 1.83 m.daN )

(4) Install the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) on the related inlet port of the brake hydraulic crown (4).
(5) TORQUE the brake hydraulic self-sealing coupling (2) to between 1.98 and 1.62 m.daN (14.60 and 11.95 lbf.ft )

B. Bleed the Brake Unit:
Subtask 32-42-27-865-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
THE BLEEDING PROCEDURE OF THE BRAKE UNIT CALLS FOR OPERATIONAL TEST OF THE NORMAL AND ALTERNATE BRAKING SYSTEM.
DURING THESE TESTS CHECK HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS AND BRAKE UNIT FOR LEAKAGE.
(1) Do the procedure(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-870-001) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 32-43-00-870-002). C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:
