A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S)S are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
Subtask 32-42-16-860-052-A (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S)S are in position.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the applicable normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly.
(4) Make sure the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
Subtask 32-42-16-865-051-A (1) Make sure the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2) Make sure that the Green hydraulic reservoir is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the applicable normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly.
(4) Make sure the isolation coupling of the PTU is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) If you install a new manifold assembly (19), new safety valves (3) and new servovalves (7) and (12):
Subtask 32-42-16-420-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

- Remove the PLUG - BLANKING and install the pressure transducers (17) and (18) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-21-400-001).
- The pressure transducers (17) and (18) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-21-400-001)
- The safety valves (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-36-400-001)
- The servovalves (7) and (12) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-48-400-001).
B. Installation of the Normal-Brake Servovalve-Manifold Assembly
(1) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the hydraulic line end-fittings and the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(3) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the interfaces of the manifold assembly (19) and the MLG mounting lugs.
(5) Install the items that follow:

(7) Safety the bolts (10) with the tab washers (9).
(8) Install the electrical harnesses on the brackets (8) and (16) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-002).
(9) Examine the electrical harnesses for correct routing and installation.
(10) Connect the hydraulic unions (1) and (2).
(11) TORQUE the hydraulic union (1) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )

(12) TORQUE the hydraulic union (2) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
.
(13) Connect the hydraulic unions (4) and (5) as follows:
(a) Connect the hydraulic unions (4) and (5) to their related hydraulic ports.
(b) Make sure that the hydraulic ports are correctly connected to their related wheel brakes.
(c) Examine the hydraulic lines and the flexible pipes for correct routing

(14) Examine the routings of the hydraulic lines for correct installation. Make sure that the hydraulic lines do not touch the MLG leg or each other.
(15) Paint a red line across the hydraulic unions that you have torqued (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(16) Refer to the tables to connect the electrical connectors (6), (11), (13) and (14):
(b) Identify and connect each of the electrical connectors (13) and (14) to their related pressure transducers (17) and (18).
Subtask 32-42-16-420-051-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the hydraulic line end-fittings and the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.

- The brackets (8) and (16)
- The new AIPC 32-11-11-85-020 TAB WASHERS (9)
- The bolts (10).
. (7) Safety the bolts (10) with the tab washers (9).
(8) Install the electrical harnesses on the brackets (8) and (16) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-400-002).
(9) Examine the electrical harnesses for correct routing and installation.
(10) Connect the hydraulic unions (1) and (2).
(11) TORQUE the hydraulic union (1) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (12) TORQUE the hydraulic union (2) to between 5.9 and 5.4 m.daN (43.51 and 39.82 lbf.ft )
. (13) Connect the hydraulic unions (4) and (5) as follows:
(a) Connect the hydraulic unions (4) and (5) to their related hydraulic ports.
(b) Make sure that the hydraulic ports are correctly connected to their related wheel brakes.
(c) Examine the hydraulic lines and the flexible pipes for correct routing
NOTE: This will prevent an incorrect connection of the hydraulic lines downstream of the manifold assembly (19).
(d) TORQUE the hydraulic unions (4) and (5) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (14) Examine the routings of the hydraulic lines for correct installation. Make sure that the hydraulic lines do not touch the MLG leg or each other.
(15) Paint a red line across the hydraulic unions that you have torqued (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
(16) Refer to the tables to connect the electrical connectors (6), (11), (13) and (14):
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE SERVO-VALVE AND PRESSURE-TRANSDUCER ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CORRECTLY CONNECTED TO THEIR RELATED EQUIPMENT. IF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE INCORRECTLY CONNECTED, DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM WILL OCCUR.
(a) Identify and connect each of the electrical connectors (6) and (11) to their related servovalves (7) and (12). (b) Identify and connect each of the electrical connectors (13) and (14) to their related pressure transducers (17) and (18).
B. Installation of the Normal-Brake Servovalve-Manifold Assembly
(1) Remove the PLUG - BLANKING from the hydraulic line end-fittings and the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors.
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(3) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the interfaces of the manifold assembly (19) and the mounting lugs of the MLG leg assembly.

MAKE SURE THAT THE SERVO-VALVE AND PRESSURE-TRANSDUCER ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CORRECTLY CONNECTED TO THEIR RELATED EQUIPMENT. IF THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE INCORRECTLY CONNECTED, DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE ANTI-SKID SYSTEM WILL OCCUR.
(a) Identify and connect each of the electrical connector (6) and (11) to their related servovalves (7) and (12). (b) Identify and connect each of the electrical connector (13) and (14) to their related pressure transducers (17) and (18).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Preparation for Test
(1) Connect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Do the bleeding of the normal brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-870-001).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 32-42-16-710-050-A (1) Connect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Do the bleeding of the normal brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-870-001).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
E. Test
(1) Do an operational test of the normal brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001).
(2) Do an operational test of the anti-skid inhibition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-003).
(3) Make sure that there are no leaks from the normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly and the hydraulic unions.
Subtask 32-42-16-720-050-A (1) Do an operational test of the normal brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-001).
(2) Do an operational test of the anti-skid inhibition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-710-003).
(3) Make sure that there are no leaks from the normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly and the hydraulic unions.
F. Functional Test
(1) Do a functional test of one of the two tachometers on the MLG on which the normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly is installed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-720-002).
5. Close-up(1) Do a functional test of one of the two tachometers on the MLG on which the normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly is installed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-00-720-002).

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).

(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
