A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
   (2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
   (3) On the panel 400VU:
  • Make sure that the landing gear control-lever is in the DOWN position
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
   (4) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the ground service connection to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

D. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) below the applicable normal-brake servovalve-manifold assembly:
     (a) FOR [2613GM] (MANIFOLD-NORM BRK SERVOVALVE,L)
below zone 731
     (b) FOR [2612GM] (MANIFOLD-NORM BRK SERVOVALVE,R)
below zone 741.
   (2) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-42-16-020-050-C
A. Removal of the Normal-Brake Servovalve-Manifold Assembly
WARNING: DO NOT GET THE FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU DO:
  • FLUSH IT AWAY WITH CLEAN WATER
  • GET MEDICAL AID.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
   (1) Make a mark on the electrical connectors (6), (11), (13) and (14) to identify their related installed locations. This will help you during installation.
   (2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (6), (11), (13) and (14).
   (3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (4) Put a CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the applicable manifold assembly (19).
   (5) Disconnect the hydraulic unions (1), (2), (4) and (5).
   (6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (7) Remove the electrical harnesses from the brackets (8) and (16) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-43-000-001).
   (8) Hold the manifold assembly (19) and the brackets (8) and (16).
   (9) Disengage the tab washers (9) and remove the bolts (10). Remove and discard the tab washers (9).
   (10) Remove the brackets (8) and (16).
   (11) Remove the manifold assembly (19) from the MLG mounting lugs.
   (12) If you have to replace the manifold (19), the safety valves (3) and the servovalves (7) and (12):
   (13) If you have to replace the manifold (19) only, remove these items:
