3. Job Set-up
Subtask 32-42-13-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Depressurize the Green and the Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
   (2) Depressurize the reservoirs of the Green and Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
   (4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the automatic selector 2576GM to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
   (5) Make sure that the parking brake is OFF.
   (6) Make sure that the pressure in the brake accumulator is released.

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

D. Safety Precautions
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green or Yellow hydraulic systems:
  • on the panel 40VU in the cockpit
  • on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system
  • on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-42-13-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Automatic Selector 2576GM
   (1) Push the pressure release button on the pressure relief valve 3067GM to depressurize the alternate brake system.
   (2) Make sure that the pressure on the gauge 2585GM decreases to the fill pressure of the accumulator 2582GM (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
   (3) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (4) Disconnect the connectors (7) and remove the elbow (6).
   (5) Disconnect the connectors (11) and remove the restrictor valve (12).
   (6) Disconnect the connectors (15) and remove the elbow (16).
   (7) Disconnect the connectors (1), (2) and (17).
   (8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (9) Hold the automatic selector (5) and remove the bolts (18) and the washers (19).
   (10) Remove the automatic selector (5).
