Operational Test of the Automatic Braking when the Landing Gear is retracted
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE CONTROLS AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE ITEMS THEY OPERATE BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
WARNING:
PRESSURIZE ONLY THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) THAT IS (ARE) NECESSARY FOR THE TASK. ISOLATE THE OTHER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM(S) BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.

A. Automatic Braking when the Landing Gear is Retracted
(1) Do a reset of the BSCU:
(a) On panel 402VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch to OFF, then to ON.
(2) Install the 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE on weight-on-wheels proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA, 24GA and 25GA.
(3) Remove the 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE from weight-on-wheels proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA, 24GA and 25GA.
5. Close-up(1) Do a reset of the BSCU:
(a) On panel 402VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch to OFF, then to ON.

| 1.Make sure that the brake pedals are released and put L/G normal lever 6GA to UP position. NOTE: Ignore the warnings when you put L/G lever (6GA) to UP position. | Make sure that the Green system pistons on the brake units extend for approximately three seconds and then retract. |
| 2.Put L/G control lever (6GA) to DOWN position. | |
NOTE: If it is necessary to do the test again, it is important to:
- First remove all the 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE after the L/G control lever (6GA) is set to DOWN position
- Then do steps (1) to (3) again.
