A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are Energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
   (3) Make sure that the flight configuration precautions were obeyed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
   (4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
   (5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).

C. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position:
  • On the panel 40VU and on the ground service panel to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system,
  • On the free-fall extension-handle to tell persons not to operate the L/G free extension system.

D. Preparation of the Replacement component
   (1) Remove and discard the cotter pin (10).
   (2) Remove the nut (11), the washer (12) and the bolt (14). Remove the lever (9) from the splined shaft of the removed cutout valve (3).
   (3) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the splines of the new cutout valve (3), the bolt (14) and the washer (12).
   (4) Install the lever (9) on the splined shaft of the cutout valve (3). Make sure that the master splines are aligned.
   (5) Install the bolt (14), the washer (12) and the nut (11).
   (6) Safety the nut (11) with the new AIPC 32-33-03-20-050 COTTER PIN (10) or AIPC 32-33-83-13-020 COTTER PIN (10).
   (7) Apply corrosion protection to the nut (11), the washer (12) and the bolt (14) (
Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).

E. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Clean the mating surfaces with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and dry them with filtered compressed air.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
4. Procedure
Subtask 32-33-12-420-053-A
A. Installation of the L/G Free-Fall Cutout Valve 2515GM
   (1) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the bolts (21), the washers (22) and the component interface.
   (2) Put the cutout valve (3) in position on the aircraft structure.
   (3) Install the washers (22), the bolts (21) and the nuts (4).
   (4) Remove the blanking plugs.
   (5) Put the elbow assemblies (1), (6) and (20) in position and connect the connectors (2), (5) and (19).
   (6) TORQUE the connectors (19) to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft ) T.
   (7) TORQUE the connectors (2) and (5) to between 10.7 and 9.7 m.daN (78.91 and 71.53 lbf.ft )
T.
   (8) Mark the connections with Top Coat Polyurethane-- Decorative Furnishing (Material No.
04JMD9) .

B. Put the Rigging Pins in position.
   (1) Put the 98DNSA20208060 RIGGING PIN into the lever and the forward face of the MLG door uplock 2520GM.
   (2) Put the 98DNSA20208060 RIGGING PIN through the rigging hole and into the cutout valve (3).

C. Adjustment
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (1) Put the adjustable rod (7) between the forks of the lever (9). If the holes are not aligned, adjust the rod (7) as follows:
     (a) Remove and discard the lockwire from the locknuts (8).
     (b) Loosen the locknuts (8).
     (c) Turn the rod (7) until the eye-end is aligned with the holes in the forks of the lever (9).
     (d) Make sure that the threads are in safety.
     (e) Tighten and safety the locknuts (8) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.

D. Installation of the Rod
   (1) Apply Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) to the bolt (18), the bush (17) and the washer (16).
   (2) Put the rod (7) in position.
   (3) Install the bush (17), the bolt (18), the washer (16) and the nut (15).
   (4) Safety the nut (15) with the new AIPC 32-33-03-01-170 COTTER PIN (13) or AIPC 32-33-83-01-020 COTTER PIN (13).

E. Remove the Rigging Pins
   (1) Remove the rigging pin from the cutout valve (3) and the lever (9).
   (2) Remove the rigging pin from the uplock assembly 2520GM.

G. Preparation for Test
   (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (
Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
   (2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
   (5) Remove the container.
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (7) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (8) If necessary fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
Subtask 32-33-12-720-050-A
H. Functional Test
   (1) To do the functional test of the cutout valve (3), do step (a) or (b) as follows:
     (a) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction of the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002)
and
Do a functional test of the free-fall extension system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-33-00-720-001).
     (b) Do the operational check of the cutout valve (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-33-00-710-002).
   (2) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the cutout valve (3). Leaks are not permitted.

Subtask 32-33-12-410-051-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Apply corrosion protection to the bolt heads, pipe connections and the adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (3) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
