Removal of the L/G Free-Fall Cutout-Valve

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

(2) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
C. Disconnection of the PTU Isolation Coupling
(1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(5) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the cutout valve (3) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-33-12-865-050-A (1) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(5) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) below the cutout valve (3) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position:

- On the panel 40VU and the ground service panel to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system,
- On the free-fall extension-handle to tell persons not to operate the L/G free-fall extension system.
Subtask 32-33-12-020-050-A
A. Removal of the L/G Free-Fall Cutout-Valve 2515GM
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Remove and discard the cotter pin (13).
(3) Remove the nut (15), the washer (16), the bolt (18) and the bush (17).
(4) Move the adjustable rod (7) away from the lever (9).
(5) Disconnect the connectors (2), (5) and (19) and remove the elbow assemblies (1), (6) and (20).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(7) Remove the nuts (4), the bolts (21) and the washers (22) and remove the cutout valve (3).
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2) Remove and discard the cotter pin (13).
(3) Remove the nut (15), the washer (16), the bolt (18) and the bush (17).
(4) Move the adjustable rod (7) away from the lever (9).
(5) Disconnect the connectors (2), (5) and (19) and remove the elbow assemblies (1), (6) and (20).
(6) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(7) Remove the nuts (4), the bolts (21) and the washers (22) and remove the cutout valve (3).
