3. Job Set-up
Subtask 32-31-58-860-050-A

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001)
(2) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is (are) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

on the panel 40VU in the cockpit,
on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system, access door (197CB).

(5) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(6) Make sure that the doors of the nose landing gear are open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(7) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position in zone 123.
(8) Make sure that the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) is in position below the NLG door closing restrictor (2536GM).

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-31-58-420-050-A

A. Installation of the Restrictor
(1) Remove the blanking plug from the selector valve (1) and install the restrictor (3) with a new AIPC 32-31-01-10-110 SEAL (2) or AIPC 32-31-81-10-110 SEAL (2).
(2) TORQUE the restrictor (3) to between 1.75 and 1.63 m.daN (12.91 and 12.02 lbf.ft )

(3) Remove the blanking plug and connect the hydraulic line (4).
(4) TORQUE the union (4) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )

B. Preparation for the Test
(1) Remove the container.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).

C. Functional Test
(1) Do the functional test of the nose gear doors opening and closing (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001)
(2) Open the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(3) Put the access platform in position below the NLG door closing restrictor (2536GM), in zone 123.
(4) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the restrictor (2536GM).
(5) If necessary, fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-002).

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the nose gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
