A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001)
(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001)

B. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on the panel 400VU put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear control lever.
(2) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

on the panel 40VU in the cockpit,
on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system, access door (197CB).

(3) Put the SAFETY BARRIER(S) in position.
(4) Put the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) in position below the NLG door closing restrictor (2536GM).

C. Get Access
(1) Open the doors of the nose landing gear. (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001)
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 123.

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-31-58-020-051-A

A. Removal of the Restrictor
(1) Disconnect the hydraulic line (4) and put a PLUG - BLANKING on the disconnected line end.
(2) Remove the restrictor (3), remove and discard the seal (2) and put a PLUG - BLANKING on the selector valve (1).
