A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(2) Make sure that the electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(3) Make sure that the flight configuration precautions were obeyed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

C. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
Subtask 32-31-31-560-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- on the panel 40VU in the cockpit
- on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
D. Preparation for Installation
(1) Examine the L/G selector valves 40GA and 41GA (referred to as the valves):
(a) Make sure that the valves have the DI or DI-BE stamp on the amendment plate.
(b) If the valves do not have the stamp, do the inspection Service Bulletin (Ref. SB 32-1290).
(2) Clean the mating surfaces with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and dry them with filtered compressed air.
(3) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(a) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the component interface.
Subtask 32-31-31-560-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Examine the L/G selector valves 40GA and 41GA (referred to as the valves):

Subtask 32-31-31-420-051-A
A. Installation of the Selector-Valve Manifold Assembly
(1) Put the selector-valve manifold assembly (8) in position on the aircraft structure and install the washers (7) and the bolts (6).
(2) Install the washer (4), the bonding strap (5) and the bolt (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from:

(5) Connect the pipes (9) and (14) and TORQUE to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )

(6) Connect the pipe (11) and TORQUE to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )
.
(7) Connect the reducer tee (12) and TORQUE to between 5.3 and 4.8 m.daN (39.09 and 35.40 lbf.ft )
.
(8) Connect the pipes (17) and (19) and TORQUE to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )
.
(9) Connect the pipes (16) and (20) and TORQUE to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
.
(10) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Connect the electrical connectors (18), (15), (2) and (1) to the selector-valve manifold assembly (8).
(13) Identify the pipe connectors with Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) .
Subtask 32-31-31-865-052-A (1) Put the selector-valve manifold assembly (8) in position on the aircraft structure and install the washers (7) and the bolts (6).
(2) Install the washer (4), the bonding strap (5) and the bolt (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from:
- The hydraulic pipes
- The hydraulic connections at the selector-valve manifold assembly (8).
. (5) Connect the pipes (9) and (14) and TORQUE to between 3.2 and 2.9 m.daN (23.60 and 21.39 lbf.ft )
. (6) Connect the pipe (11) and TORQUE to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )

(11) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(12) Connect the electrical connectors (18), (15), (2) and (1) to the selector-valve manifold assembly (8).
(13) Identify the pipe connectors with Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) .
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Preparation for Test
(1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the container.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary, fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
Subtask 32-31-31-720-050-A (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the container.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary, fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
D. Do the Test
(1) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002).
(2) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the manifold assembly 2524GM.
5. Close-up(1) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002).
(2) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the manifold assembly 2524GM.
Subtask 32-31-31-410-050-A
A. Close Access
(1) Apply corrosion preventive compound to the bolt heads, pipe connections and adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Apply corrosion preventive compound to the bolt heads, pipe connections and adjacent areas (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
