A. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:

- On panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
(2) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the flight configuration precautions were obeyed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-31-17-010-053-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
(2) Make sure that the PTU isolation coupling is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the flight configuration precautions were obeyed (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system is depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right MLG door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(3) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is below the manifold assembly (1) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-31-17-865-055-A (1) Make sure that the right MLG door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
(3) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is below the manifold assembly (1) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
D. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

E. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

Subtask 32-31-17-420-052-A
A. Installation of the Manifold Assembly
(1) Put the manifold assembly (1) in position on the aircraft structure and install the washers (5) and the bolts (4).
(2) Tighten the bolts (4).
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Connect the hydraulic unions (2), (3) and (6) to the manifold assembly (1).
(5) TORQUE the hydraulic union (2) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )

(6) TORQUE the hydraulic unions (3) and (6) to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )
.
(7) Use Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) and paint a line across the hydraulic unions (2), (3) and (6).
(8) Install the landing gear safety-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-17-400-001).
5. Close-up(1) Put the manifold assembly (1) in position on the aircraft structure and install the washers (5) and the bolts (4).
(2) Tighten the bolts (4).
(3) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(4) Connect the hydraulic unions (2), (3) and (6) to the manifold assembly (1).
(5) TORQUE the hydraulic union (2) to between 1.7 and 1.5 m.daN (12.54 and 11.06 lbf.ft )
. (6) TORQUE the hydraulic unions (3) and (6) to between 9.5 and 8.5 m.daN (70.06 and 62.68 lbf.ft )
. (7) Use Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.04SAB2) and paint a line across the hydraulic unions (2), (3) and (6).
(8) Install the landing gear safety-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-17-400-001).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the ground configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary, fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
Subtask 32-31-17-710-051-A (1) Connect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) If the flight configuration precautions were obeyed, put the aircraft back to the ground configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(6) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
(7) If necessary, fill the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system to the correct level (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
C. Test
(1) Do the operational check of the safety valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-013).
(2) Do the operational check to ensure the safety-valve closes at 260 kts (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-005).
(3) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the manifold assembly (1).
(5) Apply corrosion preventive compound to the heads of the bolts (4) and the adjacent area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
Subtask 32-31-17-410-052-A (1) Do the operational check of the safety valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-013).
(2) Do the operational check to ensure the safety-valve closes at 260 kts (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-005).
(3) Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Make sure that there is no hydraulic fluid leakage from the manifold assembly (1).
(5) Apply corrosion preventive compound to the heads of the bolts (4) and the adjacent area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
D. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
