Removal of the Manifold Assembly

A. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
Subtask 32-31-17-860-054-A (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system:
- On panel 40VU in the cockpit
- On the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(5) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 32-31-17-010-052-A (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3) Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) Depressurize the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(5) Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the right MLG door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT below the manifold assembly (1) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.
Subtask 32-31-17-865-054-A (1) Make sure that the right MLG door is opened (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(3) Put the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT below the manifold assembly (1) to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

Subtask 32-31-17-020-051-A
A. Removal of the Manifold Assembly
(1) Remove the landing gear safety-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-17-000-001).
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic unions (2), (3) and (6).
(3) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Remove the bolts (4) and the washers (5).
(5) Carefully remove the manifold assembly (1) from the aircraft structure.
(1) Remove the landing gear safety-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-17-000-001).
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic unions (2), (3) and (6).
(3) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(4) Remove the bolts (4) and the washers (5).
(5) Carefully remove the manifold assembly (1) from the aircraft structure.
