A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that you obeyed the flight configuration precautions (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
   (2) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the MLG and NLG (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 32-31-11-420-050-A
A. Installation of the L/G Control Lever
   (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (3) Make sure that the L/G control lever (4) is in th DOWN position.
   (4) Connect the electrical connectors (1) and (2) to the L/G control lever (4).
   (5) Install the L/G control lever (4) in its housing.
   (6) Tighten the screws (3).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Safety Precautions
   (1) Open the MLG doors and the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001)
   (2) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the MLG doors and the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
   (3) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

D. Test of the Landing Gear Control-Lever
   (1) Do the BITE test of the landing-gear control interface-unit (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-740-001).
NOTE: As an alternative procedure, you can do this test without the centralized fault display-system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002).
   (2) Do a check of the mechanical integrity of the landing gear control-lever as follows:
     (a) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • 1GA
  • 2GA
  • 52GA
  • 58GA
  • 59GA.
     (b) Use the TIE WRAP(S) to install 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE on weight-on-wheels proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA, 24GA and 25GA.
     (c) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • 1GA
  • 2GA
  • 52GA
  • 58GA
  • 59GA.
     (d) In the cockpit, set the landing gear control-lever to UP.
     (e) Set the landing gear control-lever to DOWN.
     (f) Do the steps (d) and (e) again.
     (g) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • 1GA
  • 2GA
  • 52GA
  • 58GA
  • 59GA.
     (h) Remove and discard the TIE WRAP(S).
     (i) Remove the 98F32304000000 TARGET-FALSE from weight-on-wheels proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA, 24GA, and 25GA.
     (j) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • 1GA
  • 2GA
  • 52GA
  • 58GA
  • 59GA.
     (k) Make sure that you cannot set the landing gear control-lever to UP.
5. Close-up
Subtask 32-31-11-410-050-A
A. Close access.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items
   (2) Remove the safety devices from the landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-081-002).
   (3) Close the MLG doors and the NLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
   (4) Put the aircraft back to the correct (ground) condition. (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002)
   (5) Install the thermoformed cover on the center instrument panel pedestal.
