4. Procedure
Subtask 31-61-00-100-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Cleaning of the trackball of the CCD
   (1) Move an Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) lightly across the trackball of the CCD. Then, turn the trackball to clean all the surface of the ball.
NOTE: Do the steps that follow only if the trackball does not operate correctly again after the dry cleaning or if the ball is dirty.
   (2) Make a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) .
   (3) Move the moist cloth lightly across the trackball of the CCD. Then, turn the trackball to clean all the surface of the ball.
   (4) Dry the trackball with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . Then, turn the trackball to dry all the surface of the ball.

B. Cleaning of the other components of the CCD
   (1) Make a new Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) moist with water.
   (2) Move the moist cloth lightly across the validation pushbutton switch and the escape key of the CCD until they are clean.
   (3) Dry the validation pushbutton switch and the escape key with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (4) Make a new Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) moist with water.
   (5) Move the moist cloth lightly across the surface of the CCD until it is clean.
   (6) Dry the surface with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

   (1) Do the operational test of the CCD (Ref. AMM TASK 31-61-00-710-801).
