A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position at the access door 824 in zone 128.
(2) Make sure that the access door 824 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

4. Procedure
Subtask 31-53-34-420-050-A

A. Installation of the FWC
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (2).
(4) Make sure that the electrical connectors (2) are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Install the FWC (1) on its rack (3).
(6) Push the FWC (1) on its rack (3) to connect the electrical connectors (2).
(7) Engage the nuts (4) on the lugs (5) and tighten.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the ECAM 1(2) indication. NOTE: Make ECAM1 selection if you installed the FWC1. Make ECAM2 selection if you installed the FWC2.	On the MCDU, the ECAM-1(2) FWC1/2-SDAC1/2-ECP page comes into view.
2.Push the next page key.	The ECAM-1(2) FWC1/2-SDAC1/2-ECP next page comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION indication.	The ECAM-1(2) SYSTEM CONFIGURATION page comes into view.
4.Push the line key adjacent to the ECAM PIN PROGRAM SOFT indication.	The ECAM-1(2) ECAM PIN PROGRAM SOFT page comes into view.
5.Push the line key adjacent to the RESET PIN PROG FWC1(2) indication.	The ECAM-1(2) ECAM PIN PROGRAM SOFT page comes into view.
6.Push the line key adjacent to the CONFIRM RESET PIN PROG indication.	The ECAM-1(2) ECAM PIN PROGRAM SOFT page comes into view: On this page, make sure that, only for the FWC you reset, all the digits are at 1.
7.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
8.On the panels 49VU and 121VU: Open circuit breakers 3WW to reset the FWC1 and 2WW to reset the FWC2.	On the upper ECAM DU: FWC 1+2 FAULT comes into view.
9.On the panels 49VU and 121VU: Close circuit breakers 3WW to reset the FWC1 and 2WW to reset the FWC2.	On the upper ECAM DU: FWC 1+2 FAULT goes out of view.

E. Preparation of the Test.

If the OEB is used, you must update the OEB DATABASE:

If one FWC was removed, do the crossloading of the OEB database from the opposite FWC (Ref. AMM TASK 31-51-00-610-003).
If two FWCs were removed, load one FWC OEB database (Ref. AMM TASK 31-51-00-610-001) and do the crossloading to the opposite FWC database (Ref. AMM TASK 31-51-00-610-003).

F. Test of the FWC
(1) Do the Ground Scanning of the Central Warning System (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-710-001).

NOTE: As an alternative procedure, you can do the operational test of the FWC without the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 31-50-00-710-002).

NOTE: If the airline operates the aircraft in CAT3 conditions, do the LAND CAT3 capability test (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
