1.On the overhead panel, on the DATA LOADING panel 52VU: Loosen the two middle quick-release fasteners of the access cover and remove it. Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER or the LOADER - DATA, PORTABLE and to the SYSTEMS data loader connector (2TD).
2.On the overhead panel, on the Data Loading Selector: Set the ON/OFF switch to ON	On the display of the Data Loading Selector: DB/N: PUSH NEXT/PREV indication is shown.
3.Adjust the brightness of the MCDU 1(2) screen.	The MCDU 1(2) is on.
4.On the MCDU 1(2): Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	On the MCDU 1(2): The MCDU MENU page comes into view.

2.On the overhead panel, on the Data Loading Selector: Set the ON/OFF switch to ON	On the display of the Data Loading Selector: DB/N: PUSH NEXT/PREV indication is shown.

1.On center pedestal 11VU, on the Data Loading Selector Unit (DLSU): Remove the CAP from the loader connector of the DLSU. Connect the cable to the ALT45200001 PORTABLE DATA LOADER and to the loader connector of the DLSU.
2.On center pedestal 11VU, on the DLSU: Set the ON/OFF switch to ON.	On the display of the DLSU: The DB/N: PUSH NEXT/PREV indication comes into view.
3.Adjust the brightness of the MCDU 1(2) screen.	MCDU 1(2) is on.
4.On MCDU 1(2): Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	On MCDU 1(2): The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
5.On MCDU 1(2): Push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.	On MCDU 1(2): The CFDS MENU page comes into view.

Subtask 31-38-00-860-093-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the Data Loading Selector, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(2) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

Subtask 31-38-00-860-093-H ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the DLSU, set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
(2) On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
