A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position, at access door 824.
(2) Open access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

C. Component Removal
(1) Remove the FDIMU (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-000-002).

A. Replacement of FDIMU Batteries

Replacement of the FDIMU Batteries ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Removal of the FDIMU Batteries:

(a) Loosen the captive screws (1) on the battery housing cover (2) on the rear panel of the unit.

(b) Remove the battery housing cover (2).

(c) Remove the batteries (3).

(2) Installation of the FDIMU Batteries:

(a) Install the new batteries (3) in the rear of the unit. Make sure the polarity (+/-) is correct.

(b) Put the battery housing cover (2) in position on the rear of the unit.

(c) Tighten the captive screws (1).

(2) Close the access door 824. (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002)
