A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in Ground configuration (the landing gear is compressed and all engines are stopped).
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(4) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR1 pushbutton switch (the white ON indicator light comes on).
(5) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR2 pushbutton switch (the white ON indicator light comes on).

B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below access door 824.
(2) Open access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(3) For the location of the WGL-DAR, refer to paragraph Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 31-36-00-00).

4. Procedure

A. Test of the Wireless Ground Link-Digital AIDS Recorder (WGL-DAR)

ACTION	RESULT
1.In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR front panel:	In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR display:
Apply electrical power to the WGL-DAR. NOTE: After the WGL-DAR is energized, it does a self-test for almost 2 minutes.	The FAIL INDICATOR flashes. NOTE: After approximately 2 minutes, the FAIL INDICATOR light goes off and SYSTEM STATE comes into view.
2.In the cockpit, on the MCDU front panel:	In the cockpit, on the MCDU display:
Push the MCDU MENU button.	The MCDU MENU comes into view.
Push the line select key adjacent to the < AIDS indication.	The AIDS PARAMETER CALL UP page comes into view.
Push the line select key adjacent to the < DAR RECRDNG indication.	The AIDS:DAR RECORDING page comes into view. DAR = STOPPED comes into view.
Push the line select key adjacent to *MANUAL START indication. NOTE: It is not necessary to do the MANUAL WGL-DAR START procedure during this test if the WGL-DAR run control parameter is disabled. The modification of the WGL-DAR configuration file can change the WGL-DAR run control parameter.	DAR = RUNNING comes into view.
	In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR display:
	After some seconds RAWIN:SYNCIN comes into view. NOTE: The WGL-DAR NG synchronizes with A717 data stream in max 15 seconds.
In the cockpit, on the MCDU front panel:	In the cockpit, on the MCDU display:
Push the line select key adjacent to the *MANUAL STOP indication. NOTE: It is not necessary to do the MANUAL WGL-DAR STOP procedure during this test if the WGL-DAR run control parameter is disabled. The modification of the WGL-DAR configuration file can change the WGL-DAR run control parameter.	DAR = STOPPED comes into view.
	In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR display:
	After some seconds RAWSTP comes into view.
Push the line select key adjacent to the < RETURN indication until the MCDU MENU comes into view.	The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
3.In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR front panel:	In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR display:
Push the MODE button.	SYSTEM STATE comes into view.
Push the + button two times or until the ADVISORIES message comes into view.	ADVISORIES comes into view.
Push the SEL button.	NO ADVISORIES comes into view.
Push the MODE button.	ADVISORIES comes into view.
Push the + button one time or until the STATUS message comes into view.	STATUS comes into view.
Push the SEL button.	ACQUISITION comes into view.
Push the SEL button.	RAW comes into view.
Push the + button.	RATE comes into view.
Push the SEL button. NOTE: The data rate shown on the display must be in line with the DAR data frame implemented in the DMU/FDIMU.	Related data rate in wps comes into view.
Push the MODE button.	RATE comes into view.
Push the + button one time or until the SOURCE message comes into view.	SOURCE comes into view.
Push the SEL button and make sure that the BIPHASE message comes into view.	BIPHASE comes into view.

5. Close-up
Subtask 31-36-00-410-078-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(2) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR1 pushbutton switch (the white ON indicator light goes off).
(3) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR2 pushbutton switch (the white ON indicator light goes off).
(4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
