3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the ground configuration (the landing gear is compressed and all engines are stopped).
(2) Make sure that one or more passenger/crew doors are open.
(3) Do the flight-configuration precautions procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4) On ELEC panel 35VU, set the EXT PWR pushbutton switch to the ON position.
(5) On panel 2000VU, set the MAINT BUS switch to the ON position.
(6) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

B. Get Access
(1) Open access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(2) For the location of the WGL-DAR, refer to paragraph Component Location (Ref. AMM D/O 31-36-00-00).

A. Operational Check of the WGL-DAR Interlock Logic
(1) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR1 pushbutton switch (the white ON legend comes on).
(2) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR2 pushbutton switch (the white ON legend comes on).

NOTE: The RecCmplDelay parameter gives the time interval between the IOn to IOff status shown in the main menu. The default value is set to 5 minutes (you can change it on the WGL-DAR front panel).

In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR:	In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR:
Push the MODE key three times.	The WGL-DAR main menu comes into view.
Push the + key until the STATUS comes into view.	The STATUS comes into view.
Push the SEL key.
Push + or - until the INTERLOCK DISCRETE comes into view.	The INTERLOCK DISCRETE comes into view.
Push the SEL to display the Interlock Line status.	The display shows: RF IL: 0 0 8V POWER: 1 1
	NOTE: 1 = Active 0 = Not Active RF IL: 11 = Radiofrequency Interlock On RF IL: 00 = Radiofrequency Interlock Off
In the cockpit, on the MCDU:
Do the Simulation of Flight with the Aircraft on the Ground for the LGCIU 1 RIGHT HAND and push the EXTENDED pushbutton switch (Ref. AMM TASK 32-69-00-860-001). NOTE: Do not push the line key adjacent to the UPLOCKED indication.	The display shows: RF IL: 1 1 8V POWER:0 0
Stop the Simulation of Flight and push the COMPRESSED pushbutton switch.	The display shows: RF IL: 0 0 8V POWER:1 1
On the C/B Panels 49VU and 121VU, open these C/Bs to simulate 'ENGINES ON' (oil pressure high): ENGINE/1/FADEC A/AND EIU 1 2KS1 ENGINE/ENG1/FADEC B/AND EIU 1 4KS1	The display shows: RF IL: 1 1 8V POWER: 0 0
Close the C/Bs to simulate 'ENGINES OFF' (oil pressure low) : ENGINE/1/FADEC A/AND EIU 1 2KS1 ENGINE/ENG1/FADEC B/AND EIU 1 4KS1	The display shows: RF IL: 0 0 8V POWER: 1 1
In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR:	In the E-Bay, on the WGL-DAR:
Push the MODE key.	The WGL-DAR main menu comes into view. NOTE: In the main menu the status IOn changes to IOff after 5 minutes.
On the MCDU: Push the RETURN pushbutton switch until the CFDS MENU is shown. Push the MCDU MENU pushbutton switch. Put the BRT switch to OFF.

(1) Close access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Do the ground configuration after the flight configuration procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-860-002).
(2) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR 1 pushbutton switch (the white ON legend goes off).
(3) On overhead panel 50VU, push the ENG FADEC GND PWR 2 pushbutton switch (the white ON legend goes off).
(4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(5) On panel 2000VU, set the MAINT BUS switch to the OFF position.
(6) On ELEC panel 35VU, set the EXT PWR pushbutton switch to the OFF position.
(7) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
