A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the printout of the engine and APU hours and cycles (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-015).
Subtask 31-36-00-010-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the printout of the engine and APU hours and cycles (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-015).
NOTE: The software load can erase the data of the engine and APU hours and cycles stored in the FDIMU.
The printout gives a hard copy of this data. Use the printout as a reference to correct the engine and APU hours and cycles later, if necessary.
All modifications done before through the MCDU programming menu can be lost after the software loading. Reports counters will be also reinitialized.
(3) Make sure that the aircraft is in Ground configuration (Landing Gear compressed and all Engines stopped). The printout gives a hard copy of this data. Use the printout as a reference to correct the engine and APU hours and cycles later, if necessary.
All modifications done before through the MCDU programming menu can be lost after the software loading. Reports counters will be also reinitialized.
B. Get Access
(1) Open access door 824, in order to get access to the avionics compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
