On the MCDU display:
  • Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < AIDS indication.
  • The AIDS MAIN page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < SPECIAL FUNCT/ < REPROGRAMMING indication.
  • The AIDS:SPECIAL FUNC/REPROG page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < ADC CONFIGURATION indication.
  • The AIDS ACCESS CONTROL page comes into view.
  • Enter the password with the alphanumeric keys into the scratchpad.
  • For each entered character of the password an asterisk show on the scratchpad.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < ENTER PASSWORD indication.
  • On the second line the message USER ACCESS: ENGINEER shows.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < ADC CONFIGURATION indication.
  • The AIDS: ADC CONFIGURATION page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the * ENABLED or * DISABLED indication below the related STATUS indication.
  • The message * ENABLED shows below the related STATUS indication, if the ADC Function is prepared for operation.
  • The message * DISABLED shows below the related STATUS indication, if the ADC Function is not available.

  • Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < AIDS indication.
  • The AIDS MAIN page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < PROGRAMMING indication.
  • The AIDS: PROGRAMMING page comes into view.
  • Enter PASSWORD then push the line key adjacent to the *ENTER PASSWORD indication.
  • The AIDS PROGRAMMING page 1/2 comes into view.
  • On the MCDU, push the down arrow to display page 2/2.
  • The AIDS PROGRAMMING page 2/2 comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the < ADC indication.
  • The AIDS ADC PROGRAMMING page 1/2 comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the *ADC DISABLE MAN or * ADC ENABLE.
  • The message * ADC ENABLED shows the related STATUS indication, ADC Function is prepared for operation.
  • The message * ADC DISABLED MAN shows the related STATUS indication, ADC Function is not available.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
