A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
Subtask 31-36-00-010-062-A (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at access door 824 in zone 128.
(2) Make sure that access door 824 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

A. Install the Personal Computer Memory Card (PCMCIA) of the DMU
(1) Make sure that both LED's (1) and (2) are off.
(2) Open the flap (5) to get access to the PCMCIA-CARD (4).
(4) Close the flap (5) of the PCMCIA interface.
Subtask 31-36-00-400-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that both LED's (1) and (2) are off.
(2) Open the flap (5) to get access to the PCMCIA-CARD (4).
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PCMCIA CARD IS CORRECTLY ALIGNED BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT IN THE RELATED SLOT. ALSO DO NOT USE FORCE TO INSTALL IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
NOTE: The PCMCIA must be inserted with the NOTCH on the bottom.
(3) Insert the PCMCIA-CARD (4) until the card is flush with the gray button (3). (4) Close the flap (5) of the PCMCIA interface.

(3) Close the door.
Subtask 31-36-00-400-051-E ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PCMCIA CARD IS CORRECTLY ALIGNED BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT IN THE RELATED SLOT. ALSO DO NOT USE FORCE TO INSTALL IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(1) Open the door. NOTE: The PCMCIA must be inserted with the NOTCH on the bottom.
(2) Insert the PCMCIA-CARD carefully into the interface until the card has connected with the contacts. (3) Close the door.
A. Install the Personal Computer Memory Card (PCMCIA)
(1) Make sure that both LEDs (1) and (2) are off.
(4) Close the access door (3).

(4) Carefully put the PCMCIA-CARD into the interface until the card has connected with the contacts.
(5) Close the access door (3).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the LEDs (1) and (2) are off.

MAKE SURE THAT THE PCMCIA CARD IS CORRECTLY ALIGNED BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT IN THE RELATED SLOT. ALSO DO NOT USE FORCE TO INSTALL IT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(2) Open the access door (3). NOTE: The PCMCIA must be inserted with the NOTCH on the bottom.
(3) Make sure that the PCMCIA-CARD is put with the NOTCH on the bottom. (4) Carefully put the PCMCIA-CARD into the interface until the card has connected with the contacts.
(5) Close the access door (3).

(2) On the MCDU push the Line Select Key (LSK) adjacent to <AIDS.

(2) On the MCDU push the Line Select Key (LSK) adjacent to <AIDS.
