A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

C. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 824.
(2) Open the access door 824.

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Cassette
(1) Loosen the two wing nuts (5) and open the door (4) of the QAR.
(2) Lift and pull the cassette extraction/locking lever (3) to eject the cassette (2).
(3) Remove the cassette (2).
(4) Lower the extraction/locking lever (3).
(5) Close the door (4) and lock it with the two wing nuts (5).

NOTE: The removal of the cassette does not cause track reset.

B. Installation of the Cassette
(1) Loosen the two wing nuts (5) and open the door (4) of the QAR.
(2) Lift the cassette extraction/locking lever (3).
(3) Install the cassette (2) with the shutter protection on the extraction/locking lever side.
(4) Push the cassette (2) fully in until it engages correctly in its chamber.
(5) Lower the extraction/locking lever (3).
(6) Close the door (4) and lock it with the two wing nuts (5).

NOTE: The installation of the cassette automatically sets the track 1. This track number is kept in a non-volatile memory. The position of the sticker is not important.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 824.
(3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
