A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below access door 824 at zone 128.
(2) Make sure that access door 824 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

4. Procedure
Subtask 31-33-52-420-058-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the WGL-QAR
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Put the WGL-QAR (1) in position on the rack (2).
(6) Push the WGL-QAR (1) on its rack (2) to connect the electrical connector (5).
(7) Engage the nuts (3) on the lugs (4) and tighten them.
(8) For the WGL-QAR with only the compact flash-card option, make sure that the compact flash card is installed (Ref. AMM TASK 31-33-00-960-801).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do the operational test of the WGL-QAR (Ref. AMM TASK 31-33-00-710-021).

D. Do the steps that follow:
(1) Do the update of the WGL-QAR date and time (Ref. AMM TASK 31-33-00-710-805).
(2) Do the update of the aircraft tail number in the WGL-QAR (Ref. AMM TASK 31-33-00-710-018).
(3) Do the upload procedure and part number verification of the loadable software parts in the WGL-QAR (Ref. AMM TASK 31-33-00-710-807).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
