A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Get access to the CFDIU - SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/INST page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-008).

A. BITE Test of the Three-Axis-Accelerometer through the MCDU
NOTE: You can print the available information only when the PRINT> indication shows on the MCDU screen.
NOTE: If different CFDIU standard is installed, the MCDU display will show FDIU or DFDRS related to the used standard.

1.On control panel 21VU:
On control panel 21VU:
  • Push the GND/CTL button.
  • The blue ON legend comes on.
2.On the MCDU:
On the MCDU display:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <FDIU/DFDRS indication.
  • The DFDRS page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <GND SCANNING indication.
  • Make sure that no failure related to ACCELEROMETER is shown.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <RETURN indication.
  • The DFDRS page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TEST> indication.
  • The DFDRS TEST page with the initial condition SELECT RCDR GND CTL ON comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <START TEST indication.
  • Make sure that no failure related to ACCELEROMETER is shown.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <TEST CLOSE UP indication.
  • The close up condition SELECT RCDR GND CTL OFF comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <RETURN indication.
  • The DFDRS page comes into view.
  • Push the line key adjacent to the <RETURN indication.
  • The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/INST page comes into view.
  • Push again the line key adjacent to the <RETURN indication.
  • The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
3.On control panel 21VU:
On control panel 21VU:
  • Push the GND/CTL button.
  • The blue ON legend goes off.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
