ACTION	RESULT
1.On control panel 21VU:	On control panel 21VU:
Push the GND/CTL pushbutton.	The blue indicator light 'ON' comes on.
2.On the MCDU:	On the MCDU display:
Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <CFDS indication.	The CFDS page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <SYSTEM REPORT/TEST indication.	The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the INST> indication.	The INST page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <FDIU indication.	The FDIU page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the LRU IDENTIFICATION indication. Make sure that the FDIU P/N and the A/C registration tail-number is correct.	The FDIU LRU IDENTIFICATION page comes into view. The FDIU P/N and the A/C registration tail-number shows.
NOTE: The A/C registration tail-number is hard-wired at Coding Plug 197VC-A on 80VU.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <RETURN indication.	The FDIU page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <TEST indication.	The FDIU TEST page comes into view.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <RESULT POWER UP TEST indication.	The FDIU result page comes into view and shows the message ALL PASSED. If the FDIU RESULT POWER UP TEST gives the message CUT OUT < 200ms the test is OK. If the message CUT OUT > 200ms comes into view, stop here and do this test again.
Push the Line Select Key adjacent to the <RETURN indication.	The FDIU page comes into view.
Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	The MCDU MENU page comes into view.

Push the GND/CTL push button.	The blue indicator light 'ON' goes off.
