(b) Make sure that the CARGO COMP LT switch 8LU is set to ON.
(c) Make sure that the partition panel 161DW is removed. (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001)

C. Preparation of component

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.

(1) Clean the potable-water line with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

4. Procedure
Subtask 30-73-56-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of Heater Cuff from Fill/ Overflow/ Drain Valve.

Removal/Installation Valve-Heater 91DW1,91DW2,91DW3,91DW4 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Put the Heater Cuff (3) in position on the potable-water line (7).

NOTE: The Heater Cuff sensor assembly must be correctly installed against the body of the valve assembly to monitor the temperature correctly (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-19-400-001), gaps are not permitted.

(2) Make sure that the Heater Cuff (3) on to the water pipe (7) adjacent to valve (1) and safety with adhesive tape (2) Adhesive Tape-- Glass Cloth - (Material No.05TAB1) .
(3) Connect the electrical connections with the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20 to the related terminal block as identified during the removal procedure.
(4) Safety the electrical harness (6) to the aircraft stringers with new cable ties (4).
(5) Install insulation pack to the heater valve assembly.

NOTE: The heater valve assembly insulation pack do not prevent the correct function of the valve lever.

B. Do the functional test of the potable-water ice-protection. (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-00-720-001)

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean an clear of tool(s) and other items.

(a) Install the partition panel 161DW. (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001)
(b) Set the CARGO COMP LT switch 8LU to OFF.
(c) Close the aft cargo-compartment door. (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002)
