A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-002).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
Subtask 30-73-54-010-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the potable water system is drained (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-24-38-680-002).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 812 of the avionics compartment.
(2) Make sure that the access door 812 is open.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
(4) Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU is set to ON position.
(6) In the forward cargo compartment, make sure that the sidewall panel 131GW is removed.
Subtask 30-73-54-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 812 of the avionics compartment.
(2) Make sure that the access door 812 is open.
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
(4) Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5) Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU is set to ON position.
(6) In the forward cargo compartment, make sure that the sidewall panel 131GW is removed.
C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 30-73-54-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Inner Line Heater
(1) Install the inner line heater (2) in the pipe (6).
(2) Put the tee (10) in position.
(4) Install the inner line heater (2) in the pipe (11).
(5) Connect the tee (10) to the pipes (9), (11) and (12).
(6) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) on the pipe end bushings (9), (11) and (12).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) on the seal of the half box assembly (8)
(8) Install the box (8).
(9) Install the clamps (7).
(10) Tighten the nut (3).
(11) Install the sleeve (5) around the pipe (6).
(12) Hold the sleeve (5) on the pipe (6) with adhesive tape (4).
(13) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (1) to the inner line heater (2).
Subtask 30-73-54-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the inner line heater (2) in the pipe (6).
(2) Put the tee (10) in position.
NOTE: To prevent scratches of the inner line heater during installation, make sure that there is no sharp edges in the tee.
If necessary, chamfer the sharp edges of the tee with a SPHERICAL MILL.
Be careful not to cause damage to the conical intake of the tee.
(3) Install the inner line heater (2) in the tee (10). If necessary, chamfer the sharp edges of the tee with a SPHERICAL MILL.

(4) Install the inner line heater (2) in the pipe (11).
(5) Connect the tee (10) to the pipes (9), (11) and (12).
(6) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) on the pipe end bushings (9), (11) and (12).
(7) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) on the seal of the half box assembly (8)
(8) Install the box (8).
(9) Install the clamps (7).
(10) Tighten the nut (3).
(11) Install the sleeve (5) around the pipe (6).
(12) Hold the sleeve (5) on the pipe (6) with adhesive tape (4).
(13) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (1) to the inner line heater (2).
A. Installation of the Inner Line Heater
(1) Install the inner line heater (2) in the pipe (6).
(2) To prevent scratches to the inner line heater during installation, make sure that there are no sharp edges in the tee.

(7) Apply Release Agent-- Liquid Wax - (Material No.14DBB1) on the end bushings of the pipes (7), (9) and (10).
(8) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) between the two half shelves of the new AIPC 38-12-81-01-320 HALF BOX (12).
(9) Install the half box (12).
(10) Let the Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) cure for 12 hours.
(11) Install the clamps (11).
(12) Tighten the nut (3).
(13) Install the sleeve (5) around the pipe (6).
(14) Attach the sleeve (5) on the pipe (6) with adhesive tape (4).
(15) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (1) to the inner line heater (2).
Subtask 30-73-54-613-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the inner line heater (2) in the pipe (6).
(2) To prevent scratches to the inner line heater during installation, make sure that there are no sharp edges in the tee.

(8) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) between the two half shelves of the new AIPC 38-12-81-01-320 HALF BOX (12).
(9) Install the half box (12).
(10) Let the Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) cure for 12 hours.
(11) Install the clamps (11).
(12) Tighten the nut (3).
(13) Install the sleeve (5) around the pipe (6).
(14) Attach the sleeve (5) on the pipe (6) with adhesive tape (4).
(15) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (1) to the inner line heater (2).
B. Do a servicing of the potable water tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 12-15-38-613-002).

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the sidewall panel 131GW.
(3) Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(4) Close the access door 812.
(5) Remove the access platform(s).

(2) Install the sidewall panel 131GW.
(3) Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Heater-Inner Line
