A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the aft cargo-compartment is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (3) Make sure that the CARGO COMP LT switch 8LU is set to ON.
   (4) Make sure that the sidewall panel 152FW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-000-003).

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

4. Procedure
Subtask 30-73-35-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of a control unit (typical)
   (1) Put the control unit (2) in position on its support (6).
   (2) Install the brackets (3), the washers (5) and the screws (4) on the control unit (2).
   (3) Tighten the screws (4).
   (4) Remove the blanking caps from the disconnected electrical connectors.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (5) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the control unit (2).

A. Do the BITE test of the potable water ice-protection (Ref. AMM TASK 30-73-00-740-001).

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the sidewall panel 152FW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-11-400-003).
   (3) Set the CARGO COMP LT switch 8LU to OFF.
   (4) Close the aft cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).

C. De-energize the ground service network
