USE ONLY THE GROUND SERVICE NETWORK TO SUPPLY ELECTRICITY BECAUSE THE AVIONICS VENTILATION SYSTEM IS NOT SERVICEABLE. IF YOU ENERGIZE THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS WITHOUT THE VENTILATION SYSTEM YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.
Subtask 30-73-18-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
(2) Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU is in the ON position.
(4) In the FWD cargo compartment, make sure that the sidewall panel 131GW is removed.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) is in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.
(2) Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU is in the ON position.
(4) In the FWD cargo compartment, make sure that the sidewall panel 131GW is removed.
Subtask 30-73-18-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Potable Water De-icing Sensor
(1) On the potable water pipe, install the clamp sensor assembly (2) with the clamp (3).
(2) Install and tighten the screws (4) and (5) of the clamp sensor assembly (2) and clamp (3).
(3) Connect the two wires of the sensor to the terminal strip.
(4) Apply a layer of glass wool mat (6) around the clamp sensor assembly (2).
(5) Make sure that the glass wool mat (6) is correctly applied around the sensor and the pipes.
(6) Use tie-down straps to attach the glass wool mat around the clamp sensor assembly (2).
Subtask 30-73-18-914-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the potable water pipe, install the clamp sensor assembly (2) with the clamp (3).
(2) Install and tighten the screws (4) and (5) of the clamp sensor assembly (2) and clamp (3).
(3) Connect the two wires of the sensor to the terminal strip.
(4) Apply a layer of glass wool mat (6) around the clamp sensor assembly (2).
(5) Make sure that the glass wool mat (6) is correctly applied around the sensor and the pipes.
(6) Use tie-down straps to attach the glass wool mat around the clamp sensor assembly (2).
B. Apply Sealant
Subtask 30-73-18-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Make sure that the half shell assembly is dry and clean.
(1) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Fillet - (Material No.06ABB1) to the half shell assembly. C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) In the FWD cargo compartment, install the sidewall panel 131GW.
(3) Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to OFF.
(4) Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 30-73-18-862-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) In the FWD cargo compartment, install the sidewall panel 131GW.
(3) Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to OFF.
(4) Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
