A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(3) Make sure that cargo-compartment light switch 18LU is set to on.
(4) Make sure that rear-wall partition-panel 162DW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
Subtask 30-71-19-865-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
(3) Make sure that cargo-compartment light switch 18LU is set to on.
(4) Make sure that rear-wall partition-panel 162DW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

C. Preparation for Installation
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(1) Clean the waste water line with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 30-71-19-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Temperature Sensor
(2) Tighten the screws (1). Make sure that the sensor assemblies (3) and (4) are correctly installed on the tank connection tube (5).
(3) Connect the electrical connections (2) with the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20.
(5) Attach the electrical wires to the tank connecting tube (5) with TIE WRAP(S).
Subtask 30-71-19-865-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: The operational temperature of the temperature sensor:
- the sensor will come on at 6.0 deg. +1 -1 C (42.80 deg. +1.80 -1.80 F )
- and switch off at approximately 10.0 deg. C (50.00 deg. F ).
(1) Install the sensor assemblies (3) and (4) on the tank connecting tube (5). - the sensor will come on at 6.0 deg. +1 -1 C (42.80 deg. +1.80 -1.80 F )
- and switch off at approximately 10.0 deg. C (50.00 deg. F ).
(2) Tighten the screws (1). Make sure that the sensor assemblies (3) and (4) are correctly installed on the tank connection tube (5).
(3) Connect the electrical connections (2) with the ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20.
NOTE: You must connect the electrical connections as identified during the removal procedure.
(4) Install the insulation blanket (6) and attach it with Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) . Make sure that the electrical connections (2) are free of the insulation blanket (6). (5) Attach the electrical wires to the tank connecting tube (5) with TIE WRAP(S).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install rear-wall partition-panel 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(3) Set cargo-compartment light switch 18LU to off.
(4) Close the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).

(2) Install rear-wall partition-panel 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).

(4) Close the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
