A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the bulk cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-006).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the bulk cargo-compartment door.
   (4) Make sure that cargo-compartment light switch 18LU is set to on.
   (5) Make sure that rear-wall partition panel 162DW is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-000-001).

C. Preparation for Installation
WARNING: YOU MUST ALWAYS WEAR RUBBER GLOVES WHEN YOU DO THIS PROCEDURE.
   (1) Clean the waste water line with a Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
4. Procedure
Subtask 30-71-18-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Temperature Sensor
NOTE: The operational temperature range of the temperature sensor is as follows:
- The sensor starts at 6.00 -1 DEG.C or +1 DEG.C (42.8 -1.8 DEG.F or +1.8 DEG.F).
- The sensor stops at approximately 10.00 DEG.C (50 DEG.F).
   (1) Install the clamp sensor assembly (4) on the tank connection tube (1).
   (2) Tighten the spring clamp (5).
   (3) Make sure that the clamp sensor assembly (4) is correctly installed on the tank connection tube (1).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (4) Connect the electrical connections (3) with a ELEC CONTACTS INSERTION EXTRACTION TOOL M15570-20.
   (5) Connect the electrical connections as identified during the removal procedure.
   (6) Install the insulation blanket (2) and attach it with a Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) .
   (7) Make sure that the electrical connections (3) are free of the insulation blanket (2).
   (8) Attach the electrical wires to the tank connection tube (1) with a TIE WRAP(S).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install rear-wall partition panel 162DW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
   (3) Set cargo-compartment light switch 18LU to off.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
   (5) Close the bulk cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-008).

B. De-energize the ground service network
