ENGINE ANTI-ICE VALVE
A. This procedure gives the instructions to do the reactivation of the Nacelle Anti-Icing (NAI) valve.
- If the deactivation of the NAI valve is done mechanically, then do the reactivation of the NAI valve mechanically.
This procedure unlocks the NAI valve to let it operate automatically to control the flow of anti-ice air from the engine.
If you do the reactivation of the NAI valve mechanically, follow this task. - If the deactivation of the NAI valve is done remotely with the Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU), then do the reactivation of the NAI valve remotely with the MCDU.
This procedure de-energizes the NAI-valve opening solenoid.
If you do the reactivation of the NAI valve with the MCDU, do the NAI valve lock open (menu mode) Ref. AMM Task 73-29-00-710-808-A.
