A. Energize the ground service network

B. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
     (b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
     (c) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to operate:
  • The ENG/MODE selector switch, and
  • The ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
   (2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
   (3) On the ANTI ICE section of the panel 25VU:
     (a) Release the ANTI ICE/ENG 1(2) pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off).

Subtask 30-21-00-440-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Reactivation of the Anti-Ice Valve
   (1) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (a) Cut and remove the lockwire from the locking pin.
   (2) On the anti-ice valve, remove the pin that locks the manual override control.
   (3) Install the locking pin in the transportation hole which is in the valve.
Subtask 30-21-00-440-051-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Reactivation of the Anti-Ice Valve
CAUTION: IF THE ANTI-ICE VALVE IS LOCKED IN THE OPEN POSITION, AND THERE WILL BE A TAKE-OFF WITH AN OAT MORE THAN ISA FOR MORE THAN TWO MINUTES, YOU MUST REPLACE THE ANTI-ICE VALVE. IF YOU DO NOT REPLACE THE ANTI-ICE VALVE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VALVE AND ADJACENT AREA.
   (1) Replace the anti-ice valve (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-51-000-041) and (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-51-400-042) in the following conditions:
     (a) If there is one take-off for more than two minutes with an OAT more than ISA during the time of deactivation of the anti-ice valve.
     (b) If you have no information about take-off and OAT conditions.
   (2) Removal of the lockwire:
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (a) Cut and remove the lockwire from the locking pin.
   (3) On the anti-ice valve, remove the pin that locks the manual override control.
   (4) Install the locking pin in the transportation hole which is in the valve.
