   (1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
   (2) Before you do work on the ice protection system, put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the:
  • pneumatic system
  • engines
  • slats
  • APU switch.
   (3) On panel 191DB, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the bleed air system.

A. Replacement of the Wing Anti-Ice Valve-Filter (for the Part Numbers (PN) SAS911-002A and SAS912-002A)
NOTE: The wing anti-ice control-valve with the PN SAS912-002A is not approved for the Extended Range Operations for Two-Engine Aeroplanes (ETOPS).
   (1) Remove the filter (4) from the wing anti-ice control-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 30-11-51-000-002).
   (2) Install the new AIPC 30-11-51-02-180 FILTER (4) in the wing anti-ice control-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 30-11-51-400-002).

   (2) Remove the safety barriers.
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
   (5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
