Replace Wing Anti-Icing Filter
WARNING:
PUT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE ANTI-ICE DUCTS UNTIL THEY ARE COOL. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE DUCTS STAYS HIGH FOR SOME TIME AFTER THE ENGINE STOPS.

A. Replacement of the Wing Anti-Ice Valve-Filter (for the Part Numbers (PN) SAS911-002A and SAS912-002A)
(2) Install the new AIPC 30-11-51-02-180 FILTER (4) in the wing anti-ice control-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 30-11-51-400-002).
5. Close-upNOTE: The wing anti-ice control-valve with the PN SAS912-002A is not approved for the Extended Range Operations for Two-Engine Aeroplanes (ETOPS).
(1) Remove the filter (4) from the wing anti-ice control-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 30-11-51-000-002). (2) Install the new AIPC 30-11-51-02-180 FILTER (4) in the wing anti-ice control-valve (Ref. AMM TASK 30-11-51-400-002).

B. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
