D. Installation of the Wing Anti-Ice Control-Valve (for the Part Numbers (PN) SAS911-002A and SAS912-002A)NOTE: The wing anti-ice control-valve with the PN SAS912-002A is not approved for the Extended Range Operations for Two-Engine Aeroplanes (ETOPS).
NOTE: The wing anti-ice control-valve is spring loaded in the closed position. If the valve is manually open without the air pressure, the valve can cause a blockage at 45 degrees when it goes back to the closed position. This is usual because there is no sufficient air pressure on the internal diaphragm of the valve.
(1) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the anti-ice ducts (4) and (11) and the wing anti-ice control-valve (2).(2) Put the wing anti-ice control-valve (2) in position between the two anti-ice ducts (4) and (11).

. (6) Connect the electrical connectors as follows:
(a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:
WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS, MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONNECT EACH PLUG TO THE CORRECT RECEPTACLE (USE THE IDENTIFICATION MARKS).
