A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats and the pneumatic systems.
Subtask 30-11-00-860-059-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats and the pneumatic systems.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the slat/flap control lever.
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(4) On the ECAM control panel (CP), push (in) the BLEED P/BSW.
(5) If the source of power is the aircraft engines:
(a) Operate Engine 1 and Engine 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
(b) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, put the X BLEED switch in the OPEN position.
(c) Make sure that the bleed air pressure is between 2.8 bar (40.6 psi) and 3.2 bar (46.4 psi).
(a) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
(c) Connect the GAPC to the HP connection.
(d) Operate the GAPC to give a bleed air supply.
(e) On the AIR COND panel 30VU, put the X BLEED switch in the OPEN position.
