(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Before you do work on the Ice Protection system, put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the:

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position below zone 622.
(2) Remove the access panel 622WB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-008).

D. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below zone 622.
(2) Remove access panel 622YB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below zone 622.
(2) Remove access panel 622YB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).

A. Deactivation of the Wing Anti-Ice Control-Valve to the OPEN Position - PN SAS 911-002A
(2) If necessary, turn the indicator (2) to the OPEN position and install the bolt (1).
(3) Safety the bolt (1) with14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
Subtask 30-11-00-040-058-A WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Remove and discard the lockwire from the bolt (1). (2) If necessary, turn the indicator (2) to the OPEN position and install the bolt (1).
(3) Safety the bolt (1) with
B. Deactivation of the Wing Anti-Ice Control-Valve to the OPEN Position - PN 38E93-X
(1) Do one of the steps that follow:
(a) For the deactivation procedure of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking plate (15), do step (2).
(b) For the deactivation procedure of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking screw (10), do step (3).
(2) Deactivation of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking plate (15):
(a) If necessary, move the rod (14) until the bolt (13) is adjacent to the OPEN position.
(b) Push the locking plate (15) to engage and lock the rod (14).
(3) Deactivation of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking screw (10):
(b) Make sure that the indicator (12) is in the OPEN position.
(c) If necessary, slowly move the indicator (12) to the OPEN position with your hand.
(d) Remove the locking screw (10) from its stowage position.
(e) Install the locking screw (10) on the wing anti-ice control-valve through the locking hole (11) of the indicator (12).
(f) Safety the locking screw (10) with a14QFB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - .
5. Close-up(1) Do one of the steps that follow:
(a) For the deactivation procedure of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking plate (15), do step (2).
(b) For the deactivation procedure of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking screw (10), do step (3).
(2) Deactivation of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking plate (15):
(a) If necessary, move the rod (14) until the bolt (13) is adjacent to the OPEN position.
(b) Push the locking plate (15) to engage and lock the rod (14).
NOTE: The locking plate (15) has three positions:
(c) Make sure that you hear a click when you put the locking plate (15) in the correct position. - When in its middle position, the locking plate (15) is unlocked.
- When pushed fully left or fully right, the locking plate (15) locks the rod (14).
(3) Deactivation of the wing anti-ice control-valve with the locking screw (10):
WARNING:

(2) If removed, install the access panel 622AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002).
(3) Install the access panel 622WB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-008).

(2) If removed, install the access panel 622AB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install access panel 622YB (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002).

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the warning message WING A.ICE L(R) VALVE OPEN does not show on panel 4VU on the ECAM upper DU.
(3) Make an applicable entry in the aircraft technical log that the RH anti-ice valve is deactivated. The engine bleed must not be operated during ground operation (unless for engine start). If the crossbleed valve is open, the APU bleed must not be operated during ground operation (unless for engine start). If the engine or APU bleed is operated, heat damage to the slats can occur.
Subtask 30-11-00-942-060-A (1) Make sure that the warning message WING A.ICE L(R) VALVE OPEN does not show on panel 4VU on the ECAM upper DU.
- If necessary, on panel 11VU, push the EMER CANC pushbutton switch on the ECAM control panel to cancel the message.
(3) Make an applicable entry in the aircraft technical log that the RH anti-ice valve is deactivated. The engine bleed must not be operated during ground operation (unless for engine start). If the crossbleed valve is open, the APU bleed must not be operated during ground operation (unless for engine start). If the engine or APU bleed is operated, heat damage to the slats can occur.
D. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

Wing Anti-Ice Control Valve (SAS 911-002A) - Component Location
