Removal of the Reservoir Pressure Switch of the Blue Hydraulic System

MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position.
(6) Open the access door 197FB.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- In the cockpit on the hydraulic section of the overhead panel,
- On the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position.
(6) Open the access door 197FB.
Subtask 29-34-11-020-051-A
A. Removal of the Reservoir Pressure Switch
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the pressure switch (2).
(2) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(3) Remove the nut (4), the washer (6) and the bolt (7) and remove the bonding jumper (5).
(4) Cut and remove the lockwire from the pressure switch (2).
(5) Remove the pressure switch (2) from the reservoir and discard the O-ring (3).
(6) Put a PLUG - BLANKING in the open end of the pressure switch (2) and in the port on the top of the reservoir.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the pressure switch (2).
(2) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(3) Remove the nut (4), the washer (6) and the bolt (7) and remove the bonding jumper (5).
(4) Cut and remove the lockwire from the pressure switch (2).
(5) Remove the pressure switch (2) from the reservoir and discard the O-ring (3).
(6) Put a PLUG - BLANKING in the open end of the pressure switch (2) and in the port on the top of the reservoir.
